Our Story
Founded by professionals with decades of combined experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Finance, Obsydian emerged from a simple idea — that sourcing from China to Africa can be done better.
After years working with multinational logistics and industrial companies, our founders saw the need for a partner who not only understands both regions, but who can bridge the operational, cultural, and regulatory gaps that often delay or derail large-scale projects.
Today, Obsydian operates from Johannesburg, South Africa, Hong Kong SAR and Beijing, China, serving clients across the continent with a dual-market approach: local insight backed by global execution.
